Just an idea for a future version, players should have 48 hours (numbers may change) before issuing a challenge but only counting when there is someone to challenge.
Example:
Team A: A1, A2, A3...

MA and Jasmine ability works while they are in play.
There is one in play, they get killed but there is a Earthen Protector.
So the MA (or Jasmine) returns to play.

About the slow AI, I may have a guess.
