Outdrawing is your best option. Destroying bazaar can help. Dimension ripper is nasty, since you only have excellent cards, while Zal might play Brutes and Snakes and the like.

The deck is not built to compete with higly trimmed and well-played 30 card decks. Especially a 30 card Majiya is is probably auto-loss.

I didn't see many 40 card Majiyas in action so far...
