I just looked at the rules for the championship part of the tournament for the first time. I don't think your examples work quite right... shouldn't all 3 games need to be played...

For people who would rather have a random third game, by all means go for it.

All you have to do is decide who is going to go first in game 1 before the game starts, so that no one gets an unfair...
