That means that if I had Good Ascendant on play and one of my allies was burning and had 1 hp left it would heal for 2 and be damaged for 1 staying alive with 1 hp, which does happen. So I'm thinking...

Yeah, it's a fun combo, but very hard to put in practice. You need 3 cards for this to work and 13 Resources :)

I've been thinking in a way of using Twice Enchanted Robes for card draw, but the high cost and low durability threatened to through this card to oblivion.

You are right, but then you would have 0 shadow energy and now you get 1. I understand your point of view but surelly you understand others as well... if 3 or 4 shadow energy activation wasn't so...

I think shadow font is the key because it gives 3 shadow energy the exact same needed to activate DC ability.
