I don't understand this. Have you never actually played a game with this deck (???) Otherwise how could you have thought that 38 cards is enough?
a. Yes I have, I was looking through the list and realised I missed out my eternal Renewal. There's a longer explanation but I really can't be bothered. Why not read the list and help me with the build instead?
b. Honestly, what's with this tone in this forum? I ask for advice for my deck and I have only read like 1 actual comment on the build so far.
Good write-up. I think the deck size mistake threw some people off, due to 40 card minimum in 1.28, where Elementalis also has a new ability. Makes it hard to evaluate your deck when there's that kind of confusion.
I think you will get better feedback now your deck list is fixed up. :)
Finally a clever rush deck, Ill give this a spin. Ive been looking for a rush deck that worked in 1.27. It just wouldnt fly. Mind telling us what your rating is, or maybe more relevant, win/loss ratio?
I played 3 matches with the deck as-is. Won 2, lost 1. The one I lost did not give me a 1cc in starting hand and I had other crap too.
I have now changed the deck to drop HBM and add in Bad Santa.
My turn 5 win (going second) against an Amber with T2 BF was a thing of beauty :)

EDIT: Game 2 with revised deck was a narrow loss to Logan. Very very close. I have 2 ED and 2 SR and neither turned up in time to save my ass. I got an ED out near the end, and wiped 5 allies, but my lack of haste/DD stopped me winning. Maybe a weapon is needed.
Why only three shard of power?
Amber - win (2nd)
Logan - loss (2nd)
Boris - win (2nd)
Banebow - win (1st)
Logan - win (1st)
Majiya - win - EPIC MATCH (Ythaneal vs Rei OE) - Had to use both Soul Reaper and opponent ran out of fire power. Evil Ascendant and Voice of Winter really cripple this deck, but I managed to Shriek both EA. VoW shut me down completely.
My deck has:
-2 Shriek
-4 HBM
-1 Carniboar
-1 Eternal Renewal
+4 Bad Santa
+1 Soul Reaper
+1 Energy Discharge
+1 Shard of Power
+1 Dark Flayer
Because this deck suffers from drawing too many shards. You can't even resource them super often due to my HBM concept.
I've had a 5w1l today, and I'm stopping because the game was getting crazy buggy. I initially had 4 bad Santa 3 bazaars, but it gives you a terrible time against mages. Plus HBM prevents people from getting those ridiculous armours that really shut down the deck concept. But I admit a well placed badsanta could do this deck some good.
I really don't want to play some SE deck that has all the goodies and wins on that basis. Playing PB, SK, all these make nice images, but IMHO terribly broken. Hope everyone appreciates this deck as an attempt to use cards that are considered the worst in SE, and attempting some synergy.
Did HBM fail you that badly in this deck? I always win when I have 1-2 in my starting hand.
Thank you do much for trying out my idea, and being proactive with your response. Honestly you're giving me hope for this forum. Btw does the multiplayer always bug out? I just had a carniboar mysteriously gain haste and kill off my spark. And before I could end the game, the game called a draw.

Total: 44 Cards. (including hero)
Deck seems to be suffering when it loses gas, edited in 4 BS and one more ED, to give it a slightly better late game.
