Shadow Era Gaming is an online competitive gaming community specifically for Shadow Era. Our goal is to allow players to take their passion for the game to a more “pro” level atmosphere. This goal of ours won’t happen overnight and will need the support from the community.
Signing Up
Signing up for the website is completely 100% FREE! Tournament entry fees are also free, and we’ll offer prizes to the winners! Members are able to enjoy all of our other services as well with no charge.
What Do We Offer
We offer a wide variety of services through our website that will not only relate to competitive players looking for fame but also to casual players, even those who do not wish to participate in tournaments. Here’s a list of what we have to offer:
- Weekly scheduled online tournaments with prizes.
- Leaderboards and stats updated after every tournament.
- Articles and media coverage on top level strategies and decks in the current meta.
- Live streamed events.
- Online services: chat rooms, forums, custom profiles, guild hosting, and more to come.
- Private chat rooms for each guild.
Things to come in the near future:
- Monthly/weekly give-a-ways to both members on our website and viewers on our stream.
- Better guild hosting: guild application and recruitment system.
- More than one tournament hosted weekly.
- A monthly issued E-magazine to members covering tournaments, deck strategies, and Shadow Era updates. Don’t worry about us spamming you, members of course will be able to cancel subscription.
How Are Our Tournaments Different
How are our tournaments different than you would find in the Shadow Era community? Firstly, we aim for more professional play. Tournaments are organized weekly events so scheduling for these events is easier. Eventually we hope to have exclusive tournaments with idolized members in our community for bigger media coverage, while of course continuing our regular weekly tournaments.
We are also looking toward rewarding winners with bigger prizes than you would normally find. A long term goal is to be able to give out cash prizes.
Social Media
Media coverage is important to us because it is a way for us to get our name out there, advertise our events, and keep our members in the loop. So far we have a twitter account for announcing events, twitch.tv to live stream events with commentary, and a YouTube channel to archive matches for viewing later. We encourage all members to follow and subscribe to our channels to get the most benefit out of them.

I like to personally thank the communities help and support thus far. We encourage everyone to sign up (its free after all) and continue to use the services we offer in order to help improve them. Looking forward to see you all either competing in our tournaments or in our audience when we stream these events live.
