When Cinderborn Fatebreaker is in play should Transference still be working? It seems like it shouldn't be but it doesn't stop the effect or kill CF.

When Cinderborn Fatebreaker is in play should Transference still be working? It seems like it shouldn't be but it doesn't stop the effect or kill CF.
How can it seem like it shouldn't? The ability text ("When an opposing player summons a targeted ability with cost 3 or less, that ability has no effect and Cinberborn Fatebreaker is killed.") clearly indicates that it requires a targeted ability to activate and Transference definitely is not.Quote:

Yeah, it probably should trigger from Transference. I guess since there has always to this point been only one valid target for Transference they didn't quite code it properly (I think this was also a problem a while ago with Amber's ability and targeting Lythian Sledgehammer), but I do believe it should trigger.
I am inclined to believe this is probably right. I was just curious because of the word target that is all.Quote:
