Morbid + Champion Glitch

I was facing a Nishaven with my Majiya deck and I had out 2 Morbid Acolyte and he played a Champion or Irum. I used my Morbid ability on the Champion and brought him to 1/3. I decided to finish playing my hand before I use my ability to kill him and so I played my Death Mage Thaddeus and the Champion's health went back up to 3/5.
