Connection lost during Time Machine backup

Just experienced the above while playing the 1.24 web version on safari, mac os 10.6.5.

As soon as my time machine activated and started a modest amount of wifi traffic to backup my macbook air, I got a quit timer. I tried panning the camera around a few times but I was defeated at the end of the 30 seconds.

All of this occurred during my opponent's turn, so there was no actions I could make. So I'm thinking perhaps the time machine backup interfered with the shadowera server connection?

When the timer ran out, did you get a loss screen?

Also, time machine backups do noticeably slow the computer while it's backing up. I don't think it's something the devs can do anything about, it's just time machine.

Yes, I was defeated when the timer ran out.

I have SSD on the Air and usually Safari is still snappy during a backup.
