New weapons and armour
Right, anyway, there are many weapons and armours, but they all are at least 4 cost. I reckon there need to be some cheaper weapons and armours so heroes can start attacking faster. The problem with this, though, is that heroes like Gwenneth and amber will become broken. Their abilities will probably need to be reworked, then, I guess. But enough of that. Let's just start making new weapons and armour! Everyone is welcome to share their ideas. I'll start off with my ideas:
EDIT: I have decided there should also be different types of weapons (such as axe, sword). Thanks to ROAR for coming up with this idea!
Hunter weapons and armour:
Short Bow
Bow weapon
Cost 2
1 attack, 2 durability
No effect
"Simple but reliable."
Vine Vest
Cost 2
1 defence, 2 durability
No effect
"Plain but sturdy."
Crossbow
Bow weapon
Cost 3
1 attack, 2 durability
Crossbow has +1 attack when attacking.
"A good offense is always nice to have."
Long Bow
Bow weapon
Cost 3
1 attack, 3 durability
2 resources: Do 1 damage to target enemy hero or ally.
"Long lasting bows are best for sieges."
Earth Vest
Cost 3
1 defence, 2 durability
Earth Vest has +1 defence when defending.
"Of the earth, and very tough."
Root Vest
Cost 3
1 defence, 3 durability
3 resources: Destroy target friendly ally. Root Vest gets +1 defence and +1 durability.
"All things require energy."
Hunting Dagger
Cost 2
Dagger weapon (your hero may equip up to two daggers at a time.)
1 attack, 4 durability
No Effect
"Good ol' dagger."
Combat Dagger
Cost 3
Dagger weapon (your hero may equip up to two daggers at a time.)
1 attack, 6 durability
You may attack twice each turn with Combat Dagger.
"Many a deer has been killed with this."
Fight Knife
Cost 4
Dagger Weapon (your hero may equip up to two daggers at a time.)
2 attack, 4 durability
Fight Knife does +1 damage when attacking.
"A rather sharp knife, if I may say so myself..."
Bloodblade
Cost 5
Dagger weapon (your hero may equip up to two daggers at a time.)
3 attack, 3 durability
When you damage an enemy ally or hero with Bloodblade, your hero heals health equivalent to the damage inflicted.
"Stained red from countless battles."
Nature's Cloak
Cost 5
1 defence, 4 durability
Draw a card for every time Nature's Cloak prevents damage.
"Nature is resilient."
Lily Cloak
Cost 4
2 defence, 3 durability
4 shadow energy: Destroy target friendly ally. You get +1 resource.
"As the seasons change, life goes on..."
Wulven weapons and armor:
Body weapons and armour (can wield infinite different body weapons/armour)
What Big Claws
Body weapon (can wield infinite different body weapons/armour)
Cost 3
1 attack, infinite durability
If you have What Big Teeth in play, your hero does +1 damage when attacking.
"If the teeth don't get you, the claws will..."
What Tough Fur
Body armour (can wield infinite different body weapons/armour)
Cost 3
1 defence, infinite durability
No effect
"Why won't you die?!"
What Tough Hide
Body armour (can wield infinite different body weapons/armour)
Cost 2
0 defence, infinite durability
If you have What Tough Fur in play, all negative attached effects are negated.
"Really, your swords need to be sharpened..."

I do like cheap weapons/armors. Can make hero only decks work a lot better. But I also agree that might make Gwen/Amber too powerful. Maybe a way around it would be to change Gwen to + 2 atk ONLY with bow... and Amber to ONLY with say... swords/Axe? And then you can have like a generic weapon like a club or something that anyone with arms, torso and a head can use! hehe

We need basic weapons/armor, but a cheap, basic weapon should have more, or at least the same durability as the more expensive ones. I always thought that a basic bow, for instance, should last forever with 1 attack, like what big teeth, (this was when gwen was double, not +2). But they should definitely have 4/5 durability, otherwise they are absolutely worthless. Who's going to pay 2 resources, and a card, for something that does 2 damage over 2 turns? Once you factor in the counterattack, you're sending yourself even more backwards.
edit: Something like hunting dagger, except only able to hold one. That is what I'd expect from a basic short bow, short sword etc.

Because then short bow would be better than beetle demon bow. They've got the same attack, so Gwenneth would get the same bonus. My thought is that bows have less durability, and are more powerful, and daggers are less powerful, but you can wield two to make up for it.

I'd really like to see more weapons and armor for wulven. Their current selection is rather weak. Especially compared to the hunter's choices, for example.
Oh, and Yes, I understand the thought that a wolf can't equip technically cuz it's a wolf, however that door has already been opened by the one existing armor, and weapon choice beyond Big Teeth.

i think about armors and weapons for elemental too. they already have 2 armor and 1 weapon but they're so useless
