Hmm, I will give this a shot, if you let me xD
It's a shame, in the begining A1 was the one to be copied by others, and now... everything in A1 is just copied from others guilds.. even thread's titles.. :P
Remember, i told you to burn Wtzky before it was too late!! Even danae agreed (if i remember it right), now he is leader, A1 is done for..
Wtzky - please can you amend the name, the ETC bit, I sure it's not too much hassle :)
I'm happy to join the competition if you will have me :)
Nice troll ken... With wtzky in the helm, we currently have LD as the last Crown champion and Sisyphos among the top of the rating list, among other achievements. If this is done for, then I wonder what success will be :D
Personally I very happy with the vibrant guild scene in SE now. There are different guilds to cater to different types of players. And the guilds are generally respectful of each other admist the competition.
It's way more fun in the SE guild scene than a year ago.
I kind of feel sorry for A1. The intentions are good, but the execution is always terrible in these kind of things. I mean everyone on the forums watches these things, who came up with the idea of changing signatures to 'A1 pwned me'? It just cheapens the whole thing and sends out a totally different (and I'm guessing not the intended) message. I mean everything about this could have been done in such a way as you were shown in a good light, and your intentions to run a gauntlet style competition with A1 flavour came through. I just don't understand what anyone at A1 is thinking, or if indeed the thinking part is what gets forgotten about at the door after the horse has bolted. You guys need to stop, pause and reflect. I mean the OP of this looks more like a legal contract at this point 'A1 reserves the right to change...' your just pouring bureaucracy on top of bureaucracy. I mean a fun event should be kept simple, and err... fun. This is more like the challenger is entering a legal proceeding and needs his teammates AKA "lawyers" to come read over the rules for him. Come on guys your driving me crazy with this.
@pete, did you read the rules properly?
The signature change is required ONLY when you decided to 'cash out' of the Siege. This is to prevent abuse of the 'cash out' system.
In our Siege, you basically can win 500 SC for 1 match or 2500 SC for 4 matches. It's not a big deal of SC, but for newcomers, the SC can be very tempting.
We don't want ppl to cash out, we want them to participate with the intention of completing the whole Siege. That's the fun part!
Of course, if ppl feels that the signature chance is worth the crystals, they can go ahead with 'cashing out'. I know if I'm a poor guy with no cash, getting 500 crystals for playing 1 match is tempting.
Really, the signature change is not going to happen for ANY of the current planned competitor. All of them would gladly forgo the crystals to have a chance to beat the Siege, or to just lose graciously.
I read and understood everything clearly.
@pete, your posts didn't reveal that you understood. You seem to harp on the signature change too much when in reality, most competitors are not going to 'cash out' at all. How does that cheapen the challenge? I don't follow your logic.
@preybird, technically you can earn 500 shadow crystals by winning 1 match. :D but I'm sure you won't, bec the challenge is the fun part!
