[TJ Fordfff] Standard Amber

I decided to post some decks that worked well for me this season. I finished high on all leaderboards, sef, score, rating. Not bragging, just proof that the decks ain't total garbage.

My take on standard amber build. Nothing special.

4x Layarian knight
2x masked bandit
3x aldon the brave
3x layarian seductress
3x braxnorian weaponsmith
2x yari marksman
2x viska, the scarlet blade
4x crippling blow
2x retreat
3x bad santa
4x blood frenzy
1x enrage
4x jeweler's dream
1x spectral sabre
2x reserve weapon

How does the deck do against Ravager Ter , priest Scholar/connection and Elemental rush?

I did well with a similar build last season but am getting smashed now by these builds as well as Darkclaw with infinite JD and Sledgehammer.

Unfortunately Amber is garbage in latest expansion, her shadow ability give no support nor is incisive somehow,. just play this deck as fun deck no more. any ravage/priest/rogue deck will rape you in no issues.

I think Blade of Destiny did just fine with Amber last season.

Amber is one of the most consistent heroes. Never garbage.

You have listed some of the bad matchups for Amber. Every deck has bad matchups. Amber though can succeed even against those bad matchups because of how fast the deck can play. Even if you lose you Weapon early to Priest or Rogue, you can have your ability ready to buff another weapon quickly since only needs 3 SE.

Ravager decks might be the ultimate death. Especially with Ter Adun.

You can’t win them all. Amber though, can win more than her fair share.
