I think the idea is to protect the hero as well, which Legion United doesn't do.

^ I think the similar card shadowmoon was referring to was Spelleater Bands.

Also I'm just assuming this is an armor. Doesn't have any defense value given, but also no durability activated ability to use if this is meant to be an artifact.

It is armor with,0 def value

I would never use this armor...even if in a tech match vs a mage.

Are you crazy?! I would totally (maybe, actually probably not, only in certain decks) use this armor. You know if an armor has 0 defense it doesn't lose durability right?

This in combination with other damage reduction cards available could be very powerful.

I like the suggestion
