Biography:

-Former Magic: The Gathering nerd dating back to elementary school in about 3rd grade...played for about 5 years, stopping in 8th grade. The similarities SE has with MTG are what made me like it so much so fast.
-Former World of Warcraft addict, always played a warlock and was a competitive raider. At least 200+ total days of play time spanning from beta/release at the end of 2004 up to Ulduar release in Wrath of the Lich King. Stopped after a traumatizing experience being poached by the best guild on our crappy server, then getting told I wasn't meeting expectations because I didn't target some destructor tentacles during one boss encounter. The saddest thing was I was their only active warlock. Haven't played (relapsed is a better word) since.
-Grew up in the Bay Area, across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco in Marin County. Spent a semester at University of Boulder after graduating high school, then returned home to attend community college to transfer to a competitive University of California. Moving down south to attend UCLA in mid-September! So excited.
