GAME Version: 1.612
--- What is your problem MAN?! ---
Ok, so here’s a typical scenario:
You are playing against an opponent and you are merely 1 turn away from victory. So you sit there impatiently for your opponent to finish their turn.
Waiting…waiting…waiting…DEFEATED! You gain 100XP and your rating is lowered.
Wait a minute! You were 1 turn away from victory!! What happened??
Well here’s what we know thus far.
Wulven Team (the guys who created the game) tells their players that it is simply a connection problem. Apparently when the server you are playing on loses connection with YOUR computer, it is YOU who is automatically defeated (yes – its almost a penalty for losing your connection which is fair in my personal opinion).
However, here is what SEEMS to be the problem. When it is the opponent’s turn you CANNOT do anything to show that you are active.
What is meant by this is that when it is your opponent’s turn, you literally can do nothing but wait for their turn to be over. You cannot play any cards, you cannot look at any cards and you certainly can’t sacrifice or shuffle your cards in hand.
The server knows it is your opponent’s turn and so when the timer runs out, you are STILL unable to do anything.
Now here’s the good part:
The server sees you doing nothing and thus assumes that it is YOU who has lost the connection because you are doing absolutely nothing.
You are DEFEATED! AGAIN!
--- EXPLOIT AT ONCE KIDDIES!!! ---
QUESTION: Why does it not matter to the losing opponent?
ANSWER: Because in the next turn the opponent will SURELY be defeated. This is 100% inevitable.
So if a losing opponent knows they will lose within YOUR turn then what's the point of playing and ending THEIR turn?
It would make a lot more sense to let the badly designed game decide who wins and who doesn't.
Indeed this is what the opponent does. They rely on the stupidly designed server to win games and get a higher rating. Wulven Team still says it’s a connection problem. *you think!?*
Here’s the logic of the opponent in this case:
- If I end my turn now, the chance of DEFEAT is 100%.
- If I don't end my turn and let the timer run, my chance of DEFEAT now stands at 33.33%.
- A DRAW for a losing opponent is thus 33.33% and VICTORY is also 33.33%.
- Thus the chance of NOT losing rank/rating by letting the timer run now stands at a HUGE 66.66% (Don’t forget! You don’t lose any rating when you draw – so 33.33% + 33.33% = 66.66% - for those not good at maths! )
--- CONCLUSION E=MC2 ---
Sadly YOU, the honest player, now stand a 66.66% of unfairly losing or drawing against your opponent REGARDLESS of who is winning or losing.
Even when the opponent's life is at 2 and your life is at 10000, you will ONLY have 33.33% of WINNING the game IF the other player lets the timer run out.
Remember, Wulven Team doesn't acknowledge this problem and instead defend cheaters by blaming internet connections instead. *dur hurrr! *
--- SOLUTION ---
When this happens simply do what I do. Please follow the below instructions carefully:
- Pull chair back and stand up.
- Walk to the kitchen and make yourself a hot drink.
- Construct a mental image of opponent.
- Imagine yourself punching and kicking them the *f* out!
- Promise yourself you will NEVER EVER play the game EVER again.
- Go back to computer and play the game.
The problem mentioned above doesn't reflect the majority of the community. Only some are cheaters. Many players play the game fair and square. They fight like us till the end no matter what. We, ladies and gentlemen, have honour!
